Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park
Plant Sale Gift Certificate Giveaway

Promotion Period: The contest begins upon the publication of the plant sale post and ends on May 16, 2025.

1. Eligibility

  • This contest is open to residents of Ontario, Canada.
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Minors may enter only with parental or guardian consent.
  • Volunteers, board members, and employees of the Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park, as well as their immediate family members and persons residing in the same household, are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter

  • Share the official Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park plant sale post on the applicable social media platform(s) (Facebook and/or Instagram).
  • Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Multiple accounts or duplicate entries will be disqualified.
  • Your social media account must be set to public at the time of entry and must remain public until May 16, 2025 for your entry to be valid.
  • The shared post must remain live and undeleted until May 16, 2025 to be eligible.

3. Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive a $50 gift certificate redeemable in person at the Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park Plant Sale on May 23, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
  • The gift certificate is valid only toward products sold directly by the Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park. It is not valid for purchases from any third-party vendors at the event.
  • The gift certificate has no cash value and is non-transferable.
  • The gift certificate may not be combined with other offers or discounts.
  • The prize must be claimed in person on May 23, 2025. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited.

4. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and notified by direct message on May 16, 2025.
  • Winners will not be announced in the comment section of any post. You may be directed to check your direct messages, but the official notification will only occur via direct message.
  • The winner must respond to the direct message within 48 hours of notification. If no response is received within that time, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner may be selected.

5. Claiming Your Prize

  • To claim the prize, the winner must provide their full name at the time of the sale on May 23, 2025.
  • No other personal or financial information will be requested. The Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park will never ask for banking details, passwords, or payment information in connection with this contest.
  • Personal information collected (full name only) will be used solely for the purpose of prize fulfillment and will not be retained or shared.

6. General Conditions

  • The Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify this contest at any time without prior notice.
  • All decisions made by the Friends of Malcolmson Eco-Park regarding this contest are final.
  • This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform.
  • By entering, participants agree to these Official Contest Rules.
